1. Orange farm (Pyin Oo Lwin)
It is located about one mile north of Pywe Gauk Water Fall. It has a
total of 413 acres. The land clearing was started on 17 February 2007.
Currently, 35,586
orange
trees and other crops such as 17,770 dragon fruit plants, 3,776 guava plants,
and 14,308 coffee plants were grown. Moreover, there are some avocado, jack
fruit, teak, pine plants, and grape vines.
2. Mango Farm (Indaw)
It is located beside Indaw Kyauk Gu Road near Sison Ganaing Village, Indaw sub-township, Yak
Sauk Township in Southern Shan State with a total of 6,490 acres and 432 acres
were planted. Land clearing was started in August 2004 and planted with 18,808
mango and 2,866 longan, and 270 dragon
fruit plants.
3. Teak Plantation (Taungoo)
It was planted at Bon Taung Reserved Forest and Kha Baung Protected Forest
areas. The total area is 5,090 acres and planted since 2010-11 with 2,587,187
plants. The agreement was made with the Forest Department and permitted for 40
years (2015-2055).
Teak Plantation (Myitkyina)
It is located at Pi Htaung Removed Forest, Nan Kwe Village Tract, Myitkyina Township. The land
clearing commenced on 2008-09. In total, 927,466 teak plants were plantd on 2,150 acres from
the total of 9,888 acres.
Teak Plantation (Putao)
It is located near near Mulashidi Village, Puto Township, Kachin State. The
plantation was commenced in 2010-11 and 70 acres was planted.
4. Oil Palm Plantation (Myeik)
It is located at Chaung Nauk Pyan area, Tanintheri Township, Myeik District, 2,850 acres were planted
with oil palm. The plantation activities were commenced on 22 February 2004.
Concerning with the land ownership, 1,050 acres planted with oil palm in Taung Phru Reserved Forest, and
was permitted for 30 years lease (2004-2034) from the Forest Department on 17
February 2016.
5. Pwint Byu Farm
It is existed in Min Bu and Pwint Byu Townships, Min Bu
District, Magway Region. 481.28 acres in Pwint Byu Township and 136
acres in Min Bu Townships and a total of 617.28 acres were contracted for 30
years lease (2013-2043) with the Forest Department.
6. Nyaung Hna Pin
It is located at Auk Chin Kan Myauk Kwin, Nyaung Hna Pin Village Tract, Hmawbi Township. The area
is 116.43 acres and reclaimed since February 2006. Formerly, dragon fruit
plants were cultivated. Currently, maintenance and rental of farm machineries
are in progress. No official document about land ownership was found.
7. Tea Plantation (Putao)
It is located near Mula Shidi Village, Putao Township, Myitkyina District, Kachin State. More than 1.4
acres of tea, and guava plantation was raised in 10.61 acres of the hotel area.
8. Coffee Plantation Project (Pwin Oo Lwin)
It is located near Inn Yar and Inn Hteik Oo Villages, Pyin Oo Lwin Township. The
project activities started since 7.10.2014 and about 150 acres of Silver Oak, Mecademia, Walnut, Yamanay, and Teak plants
were planted. During 2017, 50 acres of shade trees and 50 acres of coffee will
be planted. The form 7 for land ownership will be applied in 2017. A small dam is constructing for irrigation
water. The installation of electricity line has to be worked out.
